I am a big fan of our iPad, and I’m an even bigger fan of robots, so when I came across this video on how ipads can create little monsters and robots using stop motion – I was hooked. This is a magical little film. Enjoy.

As we enter the second month of the new decade, let’s take a quick look over what Born Lucky been up to in its early days.

We begin 2010 in NYC on another shoot for Cause & {Effect}, working on Black History Month spots for Nickelodeon.

From there we endeavored on our first stop motion film; ‘Frosty goes on Holiday’. Shot in one evening, the film was a test of some of the new features, at least to Emily and I, of the RED.

For the past few weeks, Emily has been editing a documentary with David Schneider for Martin and Kelly of the Hamburger Company. It has been a fun couple of weeks cutting down the footage of Worcester Massachusetts (where Sam Fuller is from) to uncover the story within.  We are in the final stretch and we look forward to posting up some of the documentary on the site.   And hopefully we’ll be able to edit some of the mockumentary concepts we’ve been tossing around that all involve the beetle!
